Flight delay compensation amounts explained:

If you’ve had a flight delay and not sure on how much compensation you could claim, please see our table below.

Flight Distance	Length of Delay	Compensation Amount
Up to 1,500km	3 hours or more	€250
1,500km-3,500km	3 hours or more	€400
Over 3,500km	Between 2 EU Member States & 3 hours or more	€400
Over 3,500km	3-4 hours	€300
Over 3,500km	More than 4 hours	€600

Advised by the CAA, Under EU law, airlines are required to pay compensation to passengers when their flights are delayed or cancelled. However, you only have the right to compensation in some circumstances.

There are two key factors:

The delay upon arrival at your destination must be three hours or more.

If you have access to the Internet you can file your complaint via our online portal. To access this, simply go to the homepage of the website and click on ‘START MY COMPLAINT’. As soon as you have filed your complaint you will be taken to your own personal portal page.
